Terrill purchased a Runft Ranch Charolais heifer as a 4-H project in
the mid 80's and later decided to
develop his own herd. He has
marketed his bulls through
Runft Ranch since the early 90's.
He and Sarah currently run 65 head
of Registered Charolais and manage 40 head of commercial cows for his parents
which produce Charolais cross calves. They still stay busy farming, custom harvesting, and raising their family. Emma Ann 7, Wyatt 5, Dalton 4, and Colt 1, are always busy with helping their parents check and feed cattle and learning what it takes
to be a farmer.

As a youth in the 1980's Troy started his
Charolais cattle herd from his 4-H and FFA projects. For more than 15 years, Troy and wife Julia, have worked to expand this original herd to meet the growing needs of the commercial herdsman. They keep busy with the cattle and their growing farm operation in south central Kansas. Sammie and Trey both began their cattle herd from Runft Charolais a few years ago and are beginning to see profits for their college expenses. Their small cow herds are now starting to product cattle that will help make your herds very profitable. Sammie and Trey are active in 4-H, scholars bowl, math relays, and track at Caldwell Middle School.
